A Little Adventure

Welp, the good days of summer have begun. 

Days of freshly mowed grass. 

Sunshine. 

Warmth. 

Going to the beach. 

Having cookouts. 

Riding bikes. 

And going on adventures.

Yesterday was a day of adventure for me, The Little Brother, and my friend Anneliese. 

There was ice cream, walking, exploring, driving, sunglasses, and beautiful stain-glass windows. 

I suppose the pictures can tell a bit of a story all by themselves.

 

 

 

Also, I have finished editing pictures from wedding #2 of the year. 

I shall be posting soon.

This Made Me Smile::Monday:: A Weekend Full of Fun

Memorial Day.

In America this day is usually marked with cookouts, family get-togethers (is "togethers" even a word?), and memorials to remember the men who have fought for our nation's freedom.   

My family and I got to enjoy the weekend by spending it with wonderful friends. 

Playing volley-ball.

Making music. 

Laughing together.

Getting dirty. 

Very dirty. 

Getting rained on.

Eating good food. 

Sitting around a bonfire.

Singing songs.  

'Twas loverly.

This Made Me Smile::Monday::Meeting Old Friends

This weekend I had the vast pleasure of meeting someone I have "known" for a long time. 

Miss Sarah K. 

Over the past year (or so) I have gotten to know this lovely young lady over the blogging sphere and through Flickr. She always would leave the sweetest comments and take the best pictures. 

Then one day a friend of mine got to meet her and get senior pictures done by her. 

I then determined that I just had to meet her. 

And I did. 

It was grand.
We took pictures, walked to the ends of the earth, ate wonderful food, laughed 'till our sides hurt (at least mine did), chatted, walked backwards, knocked on the doors of abandoned houses, talked about our brothers,  and had a marvelous time over-all. 

Sarah, it was wonderful to meet you, come and visit again soon! 

Happy Monday everyone, I hope it is just stuffed full of joy!

In Which We Take Some Pictures On Easter Weekend (part 1)

My sister came home for the weekend so that she could spend Easter with us. 

She comes home often. 

It helps that she is pretty close to home I guess. 

She also brought a friend with her. They were both a blast to hang out with. 

Like a blast. 

Totally fun. 

Totes'.

Totes cray. 

How about we see how far I can go without using "teenager lingo".

On Friday afternoon we three girls headed downtown to take some pictures and get some bubble tea. 

Bubble tea is one of the best things that has happened to this world. 

In my opinion. 

When it came to Modeling For Mackenzie, these two were wonderful, and ideal models. 

(Essie Jane, I posted the below picture just for you....I know how much you love that face. ) 

 

Later, I will be posing pictures from Sunday that we took out in a horse pasture.
