People....from 2012

Friday, January 18, 2013

Last year was a wonderful year. I was so blessed to be able to take pictures of lots of people.
I love taking pictures of people. It is just so much fun.

So, here are a few (just a few mind you) of my very favorite pictures of people taken in 2012.
Some of these I love because they are just showing off a personality trait of the person, and because of that they are my favorite.
Here it goes.

(Talk about personality traits! See the next couple)

Bye now! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!!!!!!!!
Until next time,
Mackenzie Hope

P.S Something new is going to be happening on my blog soon, so check back in on Monday!

Ian & Jess

Friday, August 10, 2012

This day was a day that had been long waited for with anticipation by all parties involved.
Anyone who knows Jess would agree that she is one of the sweetest and most beautiful woman on earth ( I just thought I would say that).
When I arrived at the home of the bride -which was also the "venue"- I could feel the excitement and joy in the air. We have been friends with the bride's family from way back when, so it was so amazing to see Jess getting married! They planned this whole thing in a very short amount of time, but you could tell that a ton of thought and creativity had gone into it.
Anyway, with NO further adue I will share with you the wedding of Ian and Jess.

For bridesmaids, Jess just had her sister, but all her close friends came early and got ready together.
There was nothing chaotic about this wedding (besides my heart fluttering), everything was quiet and calm, the bride was glowing with excitement as she did her sister's hair, and guests visiting downstairs.

When the groom arrived I slipped outside and did some shots with him. He was smiling a broad smile, and when I asked him if he was excited (note to self: Mackenzie, DUUUUH of course he was excited!!!) he smiled even bigger and said that he was.

After everyone was dressed and ready to go and I did a few shots of the girls in the back. Then we came inside and quietly waited for 3 o'clock to arrive.

Then everyone had dinner and the speeches were made, the prayers said, the glasses clinked.

For the father/daughter and first dance dances my brother, sister and  couple of their friends played the music. It was lovely.
My sister-in-law made the amazing cake.
                                          Then came the other dancing.
Hi!
Before the bride and groom left, the boys dumped Ian in the pool.
Congratulations Ian and Jess, thank you for letting me share this day with you!!!!!!
