In Which I Ramble, Show a Preview (or two) and Obsess Over Bunting

Well, school has started again, and fall is quietly sneaking up to us day by day.
Another summer past.
Another summer full of wonderful memories.
But more on that later.
Maybe.
A list...to sum up this post.
1. Sarah  and I had the pleasure of shooting yet another  wedding together last week, and we are getting ready for the last one of the summer this coming Saturday.
One last huzzah you might say.
2. We rented the 35mm f/1.4 lens for these weddings.
Oh joy.
75% of the pictures in this post were taken with that lens.
3. I am slightly obsessed with bunting.
Hence the blog design.
And the room decor.
And the business cards.
Dear me.....
4. I got to do a photo shoot with my sister yesterday. I shall post someday.
But until then, here are some previews.
5. Grandma and her teddy bear are pretty cute.
One of these days I may post a video of them two.
But not today.
And not tomorrow.
Someday.
6. Forgive me for not posting yesterday.....I was busy.
With life.

This Made Me Smile :: Monday :: 10 Sublime Things

  NOTE: I shall be taking a bit of a break next Monday and for a bit afterwards, due to a bit of A Holiday and lots of busyness. But I shall return post haste!

A New Beginning

I have been needing a new blog design for a while. I redesigned my blog last spring....I was quite proud of my efforts. 

At that time. 

But things change. To say the least.

I knew at the beginning of the summer I needed something new. A new, fresh look. 

And let me tell you, Natalia  has done wonders.
Really, she has made it exactly what I was thinking....and better!

So, this is it.
Under my sidebar profile are some nice handy buttons. (aren't  they the cutest?)
The one with the little letter on it is a "contact me " button.
The one in the middle is a link to my Flickr.
The last one is a link to follow me by Bloglovin.

Below that are different sections you can go to, just makes it easier to get around.

          

And below that are the archives. 

So you can look back to the past posts on my blog.

Now, I am not actually suggesting you do that....I mean, if you don't want to see some pretty bad photography, editing, writing, and all around oddness....I wouldn't suggest going back there. It could get messy.

Below that is a search bar. 

And I am just going to suppose that you know how to use that one. 

Under that it says "subscribe". 

If you put your email address in there you will get an email every time I post a blog post. 

Or you could just check my blog every Monday. 

And every other day. 

Because you never know when I am going to post. 

Or you could just subscribe. 

Also, on each picture there is a "pin it" button.
So you can "pin it"......or something like that.

If you are ever in need of a blog design I would strongly suggest Natalia, she is good at this.

Sometimes I Wonder Why People Even Own Small Fluffy Dogs

Now don't get me wrong. 

I adore dogs. 

Really. 

In fact, my dog (well, she is the family dog....but I call her mine, and she lets me believe it) is really one of the best dogs ever. 

But I really can't stand small yippy dogs.

They say that a person goes with their dog.

My dog is a Border Collie/German Shepard mix. 

She goes with me.
But "Mr. Bingly" is another story.
"Mr. Bingly" is our small yippy dog.
We call him many other things....mostly "Bings".
He goes with someone else.
Not me.
Or my little brother.
He barks.
And runs around.
And is just not the smartest thing on earth.
But.
I cringe to say this.
Yes.
He is pretty cute.
He is fluffy.
And. 
Friendly.
And a little model.
And that is all I have to say.

State Fair and A List

A list:

1. I got to enjoy a lovely time with my dear friends Sarah and Sarah (yeah, confusing right?), who are both amazing photographers (Essie Jane Photography and Sarah K Photography) . We went to the state fair, art museum, took pictures, ate food, and really enjoyed ourselves.
2. These days of summer have been just lovely. Perfect.
3. Pretty soon there will be some changes around this little blog. So get ready
