Shooting With Film

Wednesday, June 11, 2014

Sometimes I think we take digital photography to much for granted. I mean, we have any picture we want to take at our fingertips. Phones can now do some pretty snazzy things (I mean, for phones) and digital cameras keep getting better and better. But, what about the Art Of Photography? What about taking time to make your shot? Because you know every shot will cost you $0.19.
I am getting into film just a bit these days.
That is, when I have time.
I got a set of it back today. Opening that envlope was rather thrilling. I had no idea what was going to be in there. After all, I had shot manual, with a pretty old camera, which I didn't even know if I had loaded the film in correctly.
Yikes.
Oh but the results.
How fun.

  1. I'm speechless. these are absolute perfection. I agree that there is some kind of magic about shooting in film - an art I'd like to explore this summertime with my dad's old canons. xx
