Jason & Ruth (FINALLY!!!)

Saturday, December 15, 2012

Well, I have finally gotten around to getting the wedding pictures posted!
For those of you who have no idea what I am talking about, I was blessed to be able to photograph the wedding of a dear friend with my dear friend Sarah. (if you think that sentence was confusing, ummmm sorry.......)
My family has been friends with Ruth's family for a couple years now. When she told us that she was engaged to Jason I was thrilled, and was even more thrilled when she asked me to be their photographer along with Miss Sarah Jane (please go check out her blog!)!
Let me say first, before I bombard you with pictures, Ruth and Jason are officially the cutest couple EVER!!!!!
Now, let us begin.
The lovely details!
Here comes the groom!

Ruthie has five sisters, she had all of them in her wedding plus my sister and a few of her friends.
The couple chose to do "First Look" (for those of you who are saying "What is First Look?", I will clarify. "First Look" is just when the bide and groom see each other before the wedding.
Got it?
Sorry for the confusing photographer lingo.
Jason's face was priceless.
After that we went to a local park to do the wedding party pictures.
That wedding party was the best! What troupers!
It was freezing outside, it was also very windy.

The boys decorating the get-away car.
Ruth's cool dad.
My lovely oldest sister Meredith played the music.

After the wedding we all headed over to the reception center for dinner.
Speeches.
Cutting of the cake (which my wonderful sister-in-law made!)
And, yes they did smash cake in each other's faces.
They are awesome like that.
After dinner the bride and groom played a really funny game.
First dance. Father-daughter dance. Mother-son dance.

More dancing!
This next picture is of my daddy and sister Meredith dancing. It nearly brings me to tears.
Not really.
But that is how much I like it.
And last, but not least, the bouquet toss.
My sister Delaney caught it.
Well folks, I finally did it. I posted the whole thing!

Thank you for plowing through this whole post!
You are great.

Have a wonderful rest of your weekend!!

Yours truly,
Mackenzie Hope
