(My dear friend Sarah wrote that in a little note for me....HA!)
Today is a special day for me.
One of my very favorite days.
On this day I get giddy and excited like a little kid.
I guess that is because I love having a birthday.
I love turning a year older.
I love looking back on past birthdays and reminiscing.
Ho-boy!
I am so thankful for the years God has blessed me with.
For the family I was born into.
So I created a list.
Just a little one mind you.
Well, little in comparison to what I could have written.

ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Mackenzie! I hear we share this day of birth together.
ReplyDeleteWhen I read your blog, you remind me so much of myself at your age .. your words, your enthusiam, your being the 3rd sister in the family of 3 girls. And then there's the whole love of photography that you and I share. All this and we haven't even met in real life yet. I look forward to that .. hoping it is soon. So happy, happy birthday dear Mackenzie, my birthday partner. xox
Thank you Mrs. Ferrier! Happy Birthday to you too!

ReplyDeleteYour list is *lovely*. ;)
But I think #16 and #22 are slightly contradictory. haha. But I feel the same way. Is there a story behind #9? 25? hehe.
I love the idea of making such a list! It really is a good way to look back on things. This has been quite a year, hasn't it?
Your blog is always a treat to visit and I really loved your list... especially 1, 2 (how different people's days would be if everyone did this), 11, 12 (everyday!), 15 (I've never had it!!), 17, 22, 26 & 29. Hope your birthday was amaaaaazing! xo
